SVA significantly expands its service offering and establishes a board of senior advisors including: Brigadier Christopher Hammerbeck CB CBE, Michael Dowie OBE QPM, Roger Perrin and Jeremy Platts.

11 October 2011, SVA’s CEO Steve Vickers today announced that the company will, operate as a full service risk mitigation business. The company will now operate in three distinct practice areas:

• Business Risk and Intelligence Group
• Corporate and Financial Investigation Group
• Security, Special Risk and Response Group

“I am also delighted that Christopher Hammerbeck, Mike Dowie and Jeremy Platts have joined our advisory board and we are honoured by the experience and professional standing, which they bring with them. I have personally known all of them for many years and have the highest respect for their unique and distinct expertise, which will significantly enhance our strategic ability.

I am equally delighted that Roger Perrin has joined our main board of directors with a specific focus on business strategy, governance and acquisitions. Roger and I go back a long way and his unique abilities in deal making, structuring and advising on deals will be of considerable value.

The three groups will focus on the following areas:

Business Risk & Intelligence

The Business Risk & Intelligence Group (“BRI”) of SVA will support financial institutions, private equity funds, hedge funds, investment banks and others in conducting Investigative Due Diligence, Pre-transactional Investigations, IPO Due Diligence, Political Risk Assessments and Employee Integrity and Screening .The principals of SVA were amongst the first to provide such services across Asia and have long and in-depth experience all around Asia and beyond.

Corporate & Financial Investigations

The Corporate & Financial Investigative Group (“CFI”) of SVA will conduct internal Corporate Investigations, Fraud Investigations, Financial Investigations, Asset Searches and Litigation Support on behalf of corporations, financial institutions, law firms and governments.

Security, Special Risk & Response

The principals of the Security, Special Risk & Response Group (“SSR”) of SVA have an unparalleled track record in the discreet and effective handling of Corporate Security and Response services. Services will include Kidnap and Ransom Consulting, Response and Recovery services, Crisis Containment, Training and Contingency Planning, Maritime Special Risk and Piracy, Corporate Security services and Surveys and Related Technical Support services.
